Why the need to cover-up a fireball story? Well, let’s see.

On Oct. 15, 2012, witnesses reported a fireball that streaked across Texas skies and possibly slammed to earth in northwest Louisiana late Monday night around 11:30 p.m., shaking homes and businesses and possibly gouging out a trench in the earth.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the fireball lit up the skies near Killeen and Temple, Texas, and exploded with a loud, earth-shaking boom in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Sri Lankan UFOs neither Mars nor Flintstones?

On December 14, 2012, the Sri Lankan Daily Mirror reported how that Southeast Asian country’s Medical Research Institute is advising witnesses observing the island republic’s recently reported UFO phenomena to search surrounding areas for metal and rock that “they think would have fallen off” the UFOs. In a story dated Dec. 12, 2012, Dubai’s Emirates 24/7 narrated how a Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) spokesperson cited an astronomer’s reported conclusion that observations of the planet Mars were behind claims of luminous objects in the skies.

Recordings of what appear to be shimmering UFOs were shown by Newsfirst Sri Lanka television in a video dated Dec. 11, 2012. None of the civilian videographers whose work is featured in the newscast appear to have achieved sharp focus while using their cellular telephone cameras. The unfocussed nature that characterizes most of these images only adds to the difficulty in determining their true identity. Read more »

Closed triangle UFO cases: January 2012 yields 22 reports

The triangle remains a top three UFO shape for 2012 with 685 reports filed through December 15, 2012, with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The number of actual UFOs will be lower eventually as MUFON completes investigations and rules out Mother Nature and anything man made. Looking back at 2012 with just 16 days left in the year, MUFON is reporting that 157 of those 685 reports are now closed cases with a final determination as Unknown. As all cases close out by the end of the first quarter 2013, researchers can then begin the task of sifting through the year’s Unknown cases for further study.

While many other reports have closed out — 489 of the 685 are closed — those cases closed as an Unknown will be the most interesting triangle cases for further study. Read more »

Although, in this valley, there isn’t a lot of anomalies, there are periods, when there is incredible activity, explain what is not so easy. In the distant 1686 astronomer Francesco Bianchini, during the eclipse of the moon, said that from the Moon and to the Earth stretches bright red and blue pillar of light. There was an impression, that someone tried to build a bridge and escape from the embrace of darkness. Later it was found that the light originated in the above-mentioned plains. The last such phenomenon was seen by astronomers in 1927. This mysterious phenomenon has not received an explanation to our days. Scientists and astronomers have reviewed several possible causes of glowing, but none of them has no effect. Some ufologists put forward their point of view. Watching the glow, experts on UFOs noticed that the light on the moon took place not only in the «Plato Circus», but in some places, like someone lit the fuses for the light. In their view, a mysterious light can be a kind of beacon, but for whom?..
