UFO sightings in Brazil

1947

On July 23, 1947, topographer José Higgins was working with many laborers in Bauru, São Paulo. Suddenly, they heard an extremely sharp sound. Some moments later, a big object landed near them. Its diameter was about 45 meters, and it seemed made of metal, grey colored and landed on the ground with also metallized “feet”. There was also a “ring” around it, making the object look like Saturn. A hatch opened and out emerged strange humanoid creatures which communicated to Higgins using hand signals. Read more »

A series of triangular UFOs were reported on the skies of Belgium between 1989-1990. They were chased down by F-16 jets and photographs were taken. They were suspected to be a stealth F117 using the Belgian highways as a flight path. Read more »

UFO sightings in Argentina

1965-12-01

This sighting is called The Adhara Observatory UFO Lunar Transit. It takes place on January 12, 1965 At 8:30 pm, at the Adhara Observatory in San Miguel, Argentina. Scientists received several calls concerning strange objects visible on the moon. The staff of the observatory photographed the moon in fixed intervals, which revealed disk shaped objects flying in front of the moon. UFORM

UFORM (short for UFO Research Midlands) is a UFO research organization founded in 1995 and based in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, UK. The group has around 80 active members who take part in regular «sky-watches» on Hartlebury Common near Stourport-on-Severn during the summer months which are organised by founding member Yvonne South and current chairman Steve Poole. The group previously promoted lectures on the subject of UFO’s and similar related matters, however since 2008 have focused on investigation of the phenomena. Read more »

UFO-Sweden

UFO-Sweden (UFO-Sverige in Swedish) is a Swedish non-profit organization dedicated to the investigation of UFO sightings in Sweden. The organization was founded in 1970 and has 26 local groups all over Sweden with the central unit in Uppsala. UFO-Sweden cooperates with organizations such as the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) and the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) and corresponds with most of the major UFO organizations around the world. Their attitude towards the UFO phenomenon is “based on research and not speculation”. They are open to any answer to the phenomenon and do not advocate any pet theory. Read more »

UFO-Norge

UFO-NORGE, founded in 1972, is a Norwegian national UFO research organisation.

During the summer of 1946, the Norwegian press started reporting sightings of «ghost rockets». Hundreds of people all over Scandinavia saw these phenomena, which have not yet been studied in detail by researchers. Press coverage of UFO sightings was high in 1947, and the first books about Flying Saucers appeared 1954. Read more »
